Once a child is enrolled, the parents/guardians of the child agree to abide by the Policies and Procedures of our program and therefore have the responsibility to read and become familiar with them. EDSE loosely follows school weather closures according to Jefferson County School District. If Jefferson County Mountain Schools have a delayed start, we will typically start school at our usual time but without Before Care. Though we may follow announced school closures due to inclement weather, we may need to call other days if our staff cannot safely reach the school. If we make that decision, you will be notified by text message and through our Shutterfly Share Site and the Parent Portal (both for enrolled families).
EDSE follows the Jefferson County School District Family Calendar with a few exceptions. EDSE is also open most of the summer for Summer Camp when Jeffco is closed. For a detailed yearly calendar of events and vacation days, please click the link below.
