The Episcopal Day School of Evergreen (EDSE) is a non-denominational preschool, providing education and child care for children between the ages of 12 months and 6 years, located in the heart of Evergreen, CO, just west of Denver.
Our goals are:
- to provide a nurturing atmosphere to assist the young child in developing social-emotional skills, practicing life skills, and achieving developmental milestones;
- to instill a positive sense of self-esteem and community responsibility;
- to foster academic readiness for Kindergarten.
Our focus is on preparing children for lifelong learning by teaching in a holistic way that reflects the real world.

COVID-19 Information
EDSE remained open during the entire COVID-19 pandemic, providing early childhood care for essential workers in our community. Working closely with the State and County Health Departments, we developed a rigorous cleaning protocol and formulated new procedures for students, staff and parents in order to keep everyone safe. With time, as restrictions lessened, we have continued to be vigilant in tracking illnesses as well as continuing daily cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures. We continue to follow State and County requirements and recommendations for COVID-19 illnesses and exposures. One of the benefits of having an on-campus nurse is that we have someone who understands the issues and continues to guide us and track the ever-changing directives. We are committed to serving our community for childcare while providing a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment for our children.
